What We Do

The Partnership is a voluntary network of supply chain players involved in the delivery of energy efficiency and low carbon products and services to the UK household consumer.

Members collaborate to ensure the effective delivery of the Government’s policies and targets for energy saving and low carbon technologies, energy security, and the eradication of fuel poverty.

We provide a framework for dialogue and collaboration between the key supply chain players and government. Ours is an unincorporated association and unique in providing a neutral space for industry and government to work together.

Our objective is to facilitate and coordinate supply chain stakeholder interaction which:

  1. Informs the development and delivery of government policies, regulations, programmes and schemes
  2. Identifies gaps in information and actions needed to increase consumer take- up of energy efficiency and low carbon products and services
  3. Shares information and best practice between supply chain stakeholders
  4. Enhances the evidence base.

We facilitate and coordinate constructive engagement with government. Our structures provide government with ready access to the full spectrum of supply chain stakeholder interests for dialogue and consultation on emerging policies and implementation issues.

We enable supply chain stakeholder collaboration which enhances the evidence base that underpins government policy and leads to its more effective execution. We also disseminate knowledge and best practice across the breadth of the supply chain network.

Our structures enable a comprehensive view of the energy efficiency and low carbon supply chain. This results in the identification of opportunities which improve the ability of the industries to deliver on government goals and targets. We make the case for, and coordinate the development of, industry solutions which overcome the constraints on delivery.

Today over 600 organisations are members of the Partnership, represented by 1,500 individuals. Trade associations indirectly extend the reach of the Partnership to some 7,000 further companies.
