The Secretariat

The Secretariat facilitates the operation of the Partnership. The Secretariat itself is provided by the Energy Saving Trust (EST) and is funded by the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC), through its grant to the Energy Saving Trust. The Secretariat team is headed by the Partnership's Director Mark Brown.

The Secretariat is responsible for facilitating meetings, workshops, seminars and other events, undertaking or commissioning research projects, as well as maintaining an active web presence, managing the Partnership’s online collaboration platform, and the publication of regular news bulletins. The Secretariat directly supports the Chairman's Advisory Group and The Council. It sets meeting agendas, facilitates the design and implementation of work plans, develops and recommends strategy, and provides reports on performance against plans and budget. It also prepares the Partnership's annual funding submission to DECC.
