Chairman's Advisory Group HomePlease note that the content below is out of date, we hope to launch our new website soon The Chairman's Advisory Group (CAG) oversees throughout the Partnership the implementation and promotion of the policies, decisions and guidance set by the Steering Group. Our membership consists of the Partnership's Chairman (Prof. John Chesshire), the two Deputy Chairs (William Gillis and Andrew Warren), the Partnership's Director and representatives of the Energy Saving Trust and Defra. We, with the support of the Partnership's Secretariat, lead the development of the Partnership's strategic and operational plans and set the planning framework for our sector working groups. We monitor progress against plans and budgets and ensure cross sector issues are adequately addressed. We regularly review developments in the fields of climate change, energy efficiency and fuel poverty and maintain a forward perspective on emerging policies, regulations and schemes, as well as developments within the supply chains for products and services. We take up issues which fall between sector working groups and on occasion commission projects; such as investigating compliance with building regulations, establishing requirements for skills and training, and promoting greater availability of energy efficiency data.
