Green Deal Forums

DECC has requested the Partnership to facilitate and manage four Green Deal stakeholder advisory forums. The chairs of these forums invited by DECC Minister of State Greg Barker and the participants were nominated by DECC.

The Green Deal forums are:

  • Installer Accreditation & Qualification forum – advising on the creation of a comprehensive installer accreditation framework
  • Capacity & Innovation forum – advising on the necessary products, skills and services (and support framework) to deliver Green Deal
  • Maximising Energy Efficiency in Buildings forum – advising on unlocking untapped potential within the UK’s housing (and commercial) stock
  • Advice Accreditation & Qualification forum - advising on the development of the advice network for the Green deal, both in-home and remote

The first meetings of the Green Deal forums took place in late 2010 and early 2011. The work programmes for the forums have taken shape, with several task groups branching off to take forward specific work streams.

A complete list of member organisations on the four Forums, terms of reference and short summary meeting notes are abailable on the following DECC website (scroll to the bottom of the page to access the links):
